“Think small and do a good job” - Teresa Gunn

By working in very small groups -we gain trust, acceptance and openness. We transform emotions into "Word Art". We put that to a beat and begin to sing.

We record, film and promote it through popular media - Television, Press, Radio and internet.

Over a 1 year period we develop:
• A Spoken Word CD
• Book of poetry
• 60-second television commercial.
• A Spoken Word Concert

Through participation in this class, our students become writers, photographers, performers, film makers, producers, activists, social commentators and contributors to their own community.
