"Think small and do a good job" - Teresa Gunn

By working in very small groups -we gain trust, acceptance and openness. We transform emotions into "Word Art". We put that to a beat and begin to sing.

We record, film and promote it through popular media - Television, Press - Radio.

Over a 1 year period we develop:
a spoken word and music CD
A book of poetry
And a 60-second television commercial.

Through participation in this class, our students become writers, photographers, performers, film makers, producers, activists, social commentators and contributors to their own community. Through the sale of this product they support their own college scholarships.
